Wrong is Actually Right

Chances are you want to create something.

Whether you consider yourself a “momboss” or a Virtual Assistant… you found me because you are hustlin’ away at your computer, putting in more hours than ANYONE probably realized.

Girl, I see you.

I get you.

I am you.

The beginning part is hard. The middle part is TOUGH. It’s what “they” don’t share all of the time. You see the glitz, glam, travel and all that fun stuff… but where is the work?

Truth is… it happens in the early hours of the morning, the pockets of naptime and late, late nights after everyone has gone to bed.

What you are doing is RIGHT. You are taking action and making it happen.

Believe in yourself and your vision but know – it is NEVER perfect at the start.

Believe in the power of jumping in and ending up in a pile of mistakes. #ohsooomanymistakes

Being wrong means you are taking CHANCES. It means you are pushing for what you want.

Keep on. You are rocking it and trust: just that simple action is putting you WAY ahead of the competition.

Here are a couple things I do help get by the “OMG I JUST CAN’T! THERE IS TOO MUCH!!!” moments:

  1. Make a list. Man, I love a good list. Put no more than 5 things that will make you feel like a complete rock star if you accomplish them today. (hint – at times I put things I have ALREADY done, just so I can cross them off) #ahhhhhsatisfaction
  2. Pour a cup of coffee, tea, wine… whatever your favorite beverage is. Sit. Drink it and look outside. Do nothing else for 2 minutes.
  3. Clean up your work area. It can be a desk, the kitchen table, or maybe you sprawl out in the den. Doesn’t matter. Tidy it up and immediately you will feel better when you sit back down.

These always help me get back to my, “YUP. I got this!” frame of mind. Let me know how they work for you!
